Is Minelab still repairing Explorers ???

Elton

New member
I have a chance to purchase locally a Explorer pro with the 11" DD coil. It seems to work properly.
I just want to make sure I am not going to possibly buy something that can not be repaired if something breaks.
Thanks all I appreciate your time answering my question.

Hi Elton, are you really a moderator on this site? If so you can search below or use the search to finds the post on fixing Explorers and if they don't repair here in the US.
In another post there is an address for someone who does repait them but I don't remember if they are in the US or not

It can be repaired outside the U.S. by MSR.
Check out my sticky at the top its listed in there down some posts.
No, I am almost positive Minelab wont repair the old XS's any more.
Simply call and ask them.

I just passed on buying the Minelab....
