is it possible to mod a tesoro 4 pin coil to fit a deleon

here in the uk the deleon is called laser hawkeye i would like a 5in widescan for trashy sites but they only come in 4 pin not 5
is it possibly to mod this coil
 
Take an ohmmeter and test the 5pin coil at the plug. Are all pins in use? If so it may well use a Hartley or other form of tapped coil feedback oscillator. The 4 pin may use a capacitive feedback oscillator circuit such as a Colpits. If so, it's doubtful you can make it work. However this is just a general guess. Hey, nobody answered you so I thought save you a dry run. If you were going the other way, you *might* could make it work.
