Is it possible to lock a GTI 1500 in pinpoint mode?

Without holding down the button. I've managed to do it a couple of times by accident, but can't remember how I did it. I'm wondering if it would, in essence perform like a GTI 2500 in all-metal. Would be nice if it would also ground track. ...Willy.

Other than the fact that the button gets stuck sometimes, no. And it would probably drain the batteries like crazy, too. Sorry Willie!! Now get out there and get some goodies!!

Yeah he could watch that battery icon drain out right before his eyes. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

Just curious - The detector doesn't transmit more power does it?

It's just like pressing the gas pedal on your car. Floor it and it #####the juice!!
