I thought I got a good deal when I paid $500 for it.
Kind of high but the seller said he was new to metal detecting and just didn't know how to get it going-very noisy.
When I got it the sensitivity was barely on and it was chattery in the house. Now after I already bought a nokta fors relic I started programming it and you can turn the gain and sensitivity almost all the way up.
Now I don't know which one I want.

Maybe I will keep the both of them and see which one is the real deal.
any opinion is welcome.

That depends on whether there is warranty left and how much the machine has been used. You paid top dollar for a used machine but would not say that you overpaid by much.
