Is it in anyway possible to scan slids? *N/T*

There are scanners the are set up for it. They have a backlight that is in the lid of the scanner and work pretty good. That is the way mine works anyway. There may be others types too but I have done it

..I don't know that much about scanners, but I am getting a new one. Its Microtek 3800;
48 bit color;
1200 x 600 dpi resolution;
8.5" x 11.7" scan area;
Max interpolated resolution is 9600 x 9600 dpi.
Will that oe work on slides?
Thanks!

It does a pretty good job. How many do you have?
Guvner..

You see, I was asking if that scanner will scan slides good.

Mine literally loads individual slides in and then carefully does one slide at a time usually in groups of 5 or 6.
Hope that helps... Guvner..
