I'll save you some reading. It isn't.

Ring was a bit of nitro. All I saw was the 18K at first. When I cleaned it off a little I saw 18K HGE. Too bad. The little heart pendant looked a lot like gold too. Spotted the 14K. Was terribly excited until I got home. Then I spotted 14K GF. More nitro. Oh well. Three days in a row detecting is reward enough for me. (Not really.)
