Yea, the F2 is a pretty decent machine.
It has found me a ton of coins and jewelry silver and gold.
Excellent target separation, great rapid recovery, VDI numbers that are more helpful than you can believe, concentric coils are cheap and the multiple coil package values can't be beat.
Very sensitive and overpowered out of the factory, but learn it well and it can be tamed.
I did, and my $200 investment has gotten me back over $2000 in about 2 years in tons of clad, a great amount of jewelry, lots of old coins and other extremely great bits of history, too.

Hello Shaneb!

The F-2 is an outstanding machine with very fast retune speed and very good depth for its price range. The other thing I personally like about the F2 is that it provides a numerical 2 digit Target ID value rather than just target categories like many other machines in it's price range. The F2 is a very good machine for beginners as well as those who are experienced but are on a budget. Give me a call if you have any more questions.

Kind regards,

Russ

Just remember if you buy used to check coil connect style. The F2s came with push on connects at first- get screw on unless you have a reason not to. Also F2 is ONLY coil compatible with F4s. If you get multiple coils swapping can be a pain as access is limited, but there are very effective work arounds.

Revier would be the guy to ask, he has the proof!!! I have one, too, and LOVE that machine!!! Nothing in it's price class can even compete. I have the F5, too, and the F2 is basically the F5 minus all the bells and whistles. If you can afford the F2, you WILL NOT be disappointed. If you can, get the one with the three coil package; you'll love that little sniper coil.

Good luck on your purchase!
