Is it a coin or token?

I was hunting my uncles pasture today along a creek where the butterfield trail crossed and i found this coin or token that has been holed. It says liberty on the head like a coin and on the back it says 1864 and 1. It is slightly smaller than a dime. Can anyone help me id it? I also found a eagle cuff button close to it.

It's a link from a bracelet. I've seen them intact just like the one you have. It had 20 or so small, replica large cents chained together. Nice find.

I think it is a replica of a 1$ gold piece. I have found them in certain camps also

The face looks like a Large Cent but the back does not. I agree it is a replica
