Is it a Coin or Medallion?

I realize the pictures do not make it easy to help with the identification and I am not sure if this is a coin or a medallion. The hole in the top makes me believe it is a medallion, the only date I can see is 1797.
The coin/medallion has George Washington

I don't have a clue--but I like it! What was the TID numbers on it? I agree with you that it is most likely a medallion since it has the same bust on both sides. Very cool find. Who knows, this find may still put you on the cover of Lost Treasure magazine. Thanks for sharing.

We'll be looking forward to the "solution" to this mystery! Congratulations on the find and thanks for the pictures!

I took the medallion to my local coin dealer and was told that it was probably made in 1932 to commemorate George Washington

Very nice find !

Very Cool find! I'm from Twin Falls area, neat to see locals posting on here. Kinda makes the world smaller :)
