Is F-5 much better than Tek Delta?

Husker Dirt

New member
I have a Teknetics Delta with an 11" F-5 coil. It works fine. I just want to know if it is worth upgrading to an F-5 or is the Delta about the same typeof unit performance wise.
Thanks

Yes, the F5 is about 2 notches up. You can do so much more with the F5 than you can with the Tek Delta. Don't get me wrong, the Tek Delta is probably the best machine in the $150-250 class. The F5's interface adjustments are so much more defined and controlled by the user and would be in the $350-400 class.

Look up Mike Hillis' write up. He is "the man" when it comes to the F5.

By the way, the Tek Gamma 6000 would be a closer match...
