Is Eurotek Pro (W/11' DD) as deep as the At pro

Pepa, I just read all your posts. You have a ACE-250 that requires a big (BIG) coil to get deeper than 6" in your ground.

You need something with a manual ground balance.

Thanks for the reply Mike. I have been using the Ace since I started detecting (maybe 7-8 years) and I feel I have out grown it. I do have the 10 X 14 excelerator coil for the ace that goes deep. But it's so big that most places get masked. Also heavy.

I don't think that would be a fair question. The AT Pro ahs adjustable ground balance so you will be able to get the best available depth in varying ground conditions. I believe the Eurotek is preset GB so you won't get as consistently good depth at sites with different levels mineralization. I would imagine (like the F series Fishers) that the Eurotek would do very well in depth.

Thanks atomicscott, I follow your logic with the ability to ground balance the at pro. I was hoping someone (Who has both) would chime in and give an opinion on how the two compare depth wise. Not necessarily in varying ground conditions. Maybe in a test garden...

Why is it apples to oranges? (Other than the waterproof factor)...Is the pro that much better? Can you explain. Thanks

I've had both, and in my ground they are neck and neck. Even though the ET doesn't have a GBing function it does quite well as long as you have the 11"DD coil.
