Is Coinstrike good for relics?

Prospector

New member
Recently purchased a like new Coinstrike. At this point I really like it. Deep machine, not that hard to use, and works great for coins. Was wondering how this would stack up for a relic machine. Does it have enough depth to do a good job. Also, would the 10.5 inch coil add enough depth to be worth the extra weight?

Even though it's made to find coins really, I did quite well with relics too because of it's raw power......I would visit the "Coinstrike Homepage" as that C$ owner, John, uses his for Civil War relics with success......
The big coil will add maybe a couple inches depth, so I often used it that way, but I ran the chest harness to lessen the weight.

Bill

Thanks Bill. I think the Coinstrike is a way underated detector. I have already made good finds behind some other detectors I have owned.
