Is anyone having any success hunting the all metal tracking mode on the GT?

I have been using it off and on at the ocean on the wet sand and although it does run smooth I prefer the pinpoint all metal setting because you can size with it and tell depth better and also I find the pinpoint mode deeper. Does anyone use it or is it pretty much an unused setting for you?

myself i never use all metal as iv found that Disc is deeper for me..GT's and Excal's.

Remembering the few times that I hunted NJ , I can see you using that mode ......Here on the NY beaches and parks , I would get hit with a barage of signals that I would be talking to myself in 10 minutes time or less !!.... Going from the wet to the dry would be an adventure using the tracking mode too ..... As you stated, it didn't get much use on my machine due to the condtions here ....Jim
