is 4.6 miles long; Bonneville had 2 tracks that were 10/12 miles each. In recent years at times the races were canceled because the tracks were deteriorated.
They may be just 5 miles or less, now. Without the added distance--do they have room to reach max, and stop before running out of room?

Yea that's what I was wondering as well . How long will it take to reach their speed and then stop that thing. How much of that distance are they allowing for unforeseen circumstances ? Would be a sight to see tho.

It won't reach 1000mph with me near it much less in it. If that thing exploded, how far out would the kill range be?
