Is 1.8 MegaPixel good quality? <font color=#FF0000><i>*N/T*</i></font>

1.8 will probably be extinct by this time next year....... 3.3 will probably the starting point for most D-cams......
Do you have a 1.8? It would be good for the web.
Just my opinion

I keep telling myself I may never buy another camera if my 2.5 megapixel camera doesn't break. I've never been so happy as I have been with the pictures I get from this Olympus camera. It's a C2500L and it's pictures have just blown me away... There must be something to the quality of the pixels...
My take... Guvner..

Yes, I do. I would like to use the cam to take pictures for the web.I would like to know if I do take pictures and decide to save them to a CD-R will the look ok if I decide to print them? I'm not saying I want them to look pro, but I would like to know if they'll look ok.
Thanks!

Nothing should change with your files if you archive them to CD-R

I would agree that 3.0 is the starting point. The main consideration is not that my camera has more pixels than yours, but rather what the higher pixel count allows you to do with the images.
Yes, more pixels mean larger images, but the big issue is that a larger image produces a superior product that may be tweaked and minipulated, enhanced, and finally saved in any size/format you choose. However, as anyone knows, there is a price to be paid. And 5.0+ cameras are about to be released.....will it never end????
