I was detecting at Hill End Australia today, digging the usual old nails when I got a another strong signal. Took a few minuets to get it out of the hole to find a lump of ironstone. There's lots of ironstone at Hill End but the GP usually ignores most of it. I tried to crumble it in my hands but it bent instead. The gold is very thin and flat so that explains the strong signal.
