Iron Mask @ -10...

has opened my eyes. After reading Ric's post, I thought "what the heck", I went to some areas that I have hit already and found alot of coins that I missed, including a 1907 Barber dime at four inches.
Many of the coins that I found were under four inches deep, but they did not register on the smart find screen where I thought they should, and with the tighter discrimination pattern that I'd been using previously I didn't get an audio response.
I found two reales on Monday, one bust and one milled pillar type, the one was all over the screen and the other looked like a clad dime, but the tone was high.
I'm new to the explorer so I'll try anything once, and -10 Iron Mask is worth it (if you can put up with the extra noise). George
