Iron Bias

Iron Bias is only available when the operating frequency is Multi. So what is it set at in the single frequencies

The manual only says that "iron bias is only available when operating in multi". It doesn't say if there is any iron bias filtering happening or not in single frequency. I read somewhere that in Multi the Nox processes the return ferrous/non-ferrous signal as a 1 to 3 ratio with 1 iron signal processed and 3 non ferrous signals process (if there are 3 simultaneous multi frequencies) which is what gives the Nox such good low and mid conductor numerical target ID even on deeper targets. In single frequency I can only assume that the ferrous and non-ferrous parts of the signal are treated equally so no iron bias would be needed...........?
