I found this suspender buckle last month. The patent design dates back to 1850. The symbols are from the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. The keys and fox are not familiar to the IOOF director who helped me ID it.
I also found 15 buttons dating from 1780's to 1850's including the Treble Gilt with the gilt intact (what is the "1" back mark?) , 1814 L. H.& S. W CONN (Leavenworth, Hayden & Scovill, Waterbury, CT), an 1837 Large Cent, a Flying Eagle, The non Regal KGIII in my avatar and much more!
