First let me say that I am REAL new to this V3 after about a 5 year lay off from metal detecting.
Boy have I got a LOT to learn.
I never ever really jumped into these new style detectors with all these adjustments.
Although I do like to read and read about everyone else experience and try to make tweeks myself.
Anyway..
I have discovered that with the stock DD coil on this V3 that when I get the "Inverted Hump" or the "Heart Beat" hump in the analyze mode it means 2 targets close to each other.
I have also discovered that when I go to pin point if I move off what appears to be the center of the target about 1 inch, release the trigger and then trigger the pin point a second time the detector allows me to pin point much more accurately and separate the two targets..
Just my experience thus far and proved it several times today.
Still learning the "curve" on this thing but thus far I really like my new machine.
And as a side note, I think I may have stumbled onto a site that has yet to be hunted.
1920's Apartment building that at one time was sort of High Society but now has become a bit "Low Rent".
Got to spend about 45 minutes there today and found 5 coins rather quickly.
1967 quarter, 1992 quarter, 1976 penny, 1970 penny and a 1950 wheatie
I think this site has got some potential...
Carry On ...
