Hello all,
My name is Robert and I live in Houston Texas. I'm new to the forum but not to the addiction I mean hobby. I've been detecting for about 5 years now and really enjoyed it when I can get out and do some hunting. I have previously owned the following detectors: White's Spectra V3i and Beach Hunter 300, Minelabs Excalibur 1000, Explorer SE and SE Pro, Tesoros Vaquero, Tejon, Outlaw and Sand Shark twice, Fishers Cz 21 and F2, Teknetics T2, Bounty Hunters Pioneer 505 and Quick Draw II.

I currently own a Garrett AT Pro, Minelab X-Terra 705, White's Surf Master Dual Field PI, Tesoro Tiger Shark and Golden uMax, Fisher 1280x and 1225x, Teknetics Alpha 2000, Blisstool LTC64X v3, and a MP3 Pro that I have disassembled to see how things work.

I have enjoyed all the detectors but the two that I regret getting rid of are the Tesoro Sand Shark twice and the Fisher Cz 21.
As you can see, I'm not brand specific but I guess I do tend to lean a little towards Tesoro. I'm a gadget person and like trying all types of detectors. I've purchased several and have traded several and that's one of the great things about the metal detecting community and the people you meet in this community.

I'll be posting some of my past and present finds and look forward to enjoying everyone's posts.
Regards,
Robert4666
