Hello all, just joined the forum, fairly new to this hobby. I live here in south east Delaware, about four miles west of Bethany Beach. Have been reading the posts for a couple months now and really enjoy it. The one question i have is has any one used the plug popper? Looks like a really cool tool. Thanks.

Welcome! Those pluggers are so big I think they would run you out of the parks with it. Plus I believe they only pull a 3 inch plug. Especially for a newer hunter this wouldn't be large enough. Are you having trouble either popping the coins, digging flaps or cutting plugs? Do you have an electronic pinpointer? If not I suggest the Garrett Propointer. I know where they sell them cheap if your interested?

Welcome Surfman! Plugging is usually not a good idea, at least on manicured lawns. A garden Buddy tool from Home Depot or Lowes is good or a Lesche, which is very popular.king-ghidorah
