Hello guys, not been on here for a while so Hi to everyone, I have a 1265x that works very well but the speaker don't wont unless I have the headphones plugged in, it works perfect with the phones in but stops working when I take them out? Does anyone no if this can be fixed or has anyone come across this problem before? many thanks Andy

I had a old Tesoro eldorado that did that. Turned out to be a piece of safety ring from a aluminum screw cap. It somehow fell down headphone jack hole. I bet you have a similar situation. If your headphone jack turns out to be broke. Radio shack has them for $2.
Good luck

Andy,

I had that problem. It turned out to be the speaker wire. I sent mine to fisher after my home repair. They were able to fix some other problems. Those machines are hit and miss. If they have parts they can fix them.
