The BH owner's manual says that overhead power lines, radio transmitters and other sources of electromagnetic energy can interfere with the operation of a BH MD.

Have any of you ever expereinced this phenomina?

I have had some issues with my Xterra but I wanted to hunt under a set of 9 ( 3 towers with 3 lines) high tension lines coming from a dam.
I guess i haven't used my land star enough to know.

I will be taking it out to use since my dad has bought the same model, then I can teach HIM something.

The biggest problem with my BH is hunting near other MD'ers. Within 5 to 10 feet, I get allot of falsing. My BH has come in handy hunting parks that I couldn't hunt with my other machine due to EMI (ElectroMagnetic Interference). JJ

I get it only when hunting in one particular spot with overhead lines, and a Cell Tower that is only about 200 yards away...I have to turn the sens way down to about 10 o'clock, and can only hit targerts to about 4-5 inches, but most of what is there is shallow clad anyways. When I was out with a friend who had a Prizm II, it would drive my Land Star crazy if we were too close...

HH,
