I wanted to show you this video:

The Ace 250 is fitted with new NEL dd tornado coil, i think the Russians are up to something.:poke:

Did you see the size of the coin he "found?" Holy Crap! But what was it being masked by?

The Tornado coils are made in Turkey, I think. Nice if you are detecting in Russia for friggin' 8 gazillion denomination ruble coins.
They must be expensive though. He spent so much on the coil, in fact, he had to use a ragged out, bent to hell shovel.

All joking aside, a pretty neat vid.

My cousin found one of those coins and let me tell you it is one huge ass coin and maybe the green object in the surface is a steel bottle cap.

It looks to have the same dimension as an English Tuppence. From memory, a tuppence was the same weight as 4 pennies, which are about the same size as your large cents. They are huge!
Mick Evans.

Well that coin looks to be a Catherine the Great 5 kopek copper coin from Russia. It is 42 mm wide and weights 53.2 grams.

Those old Swedish,Finnish and Russian coins are very easy to spot in the soil, because they are so big.:wiggle:
