Interesting test of human nature concerning silver rings.

So what to do with the little silver beauties. (Rings) Their so light, not worth much in scrap, but purddy enough to be worn. So I been doing.this. Even though small these rings bring $15 and up over the counter. When I'm at some of my local establishments. (Bars) When it's time to tip, I give the girl the choice. Money or her pick of a ring. Either way, its harmless fun. The girl gets the option, and say even at $3, it's a lot better than scrap. For me, seeing them being worn again seems better than buried in a draw. Oh, in one case, service has picked up.

Interesting post, as I gave all my silver rings away to women at work recently. The warden keeps any gold though.

Now that's a great idea! Especially (IMHO) for single, male detectorists. My wife loves silver and I have a daughter, 2 step daughters and their beautiful little girls.
