Heres an intersting story that happened to me:
One time a few years back my wife came home from the bank and said " look what I got for you" she had 3 one dollar bills that were the silver certificate type. I asked if she asked if they had anymore and she said she didn

my dad has 3 of those. aren't they worthless now?

They still are worth the face value, but as a collector's item, they could be worth quite a bit to those who collect them! Anything old and not printed or made anymore, eventually becomes what others want! My 2 cents worth given! God Bless! Betty
