interesting readings

I have never experienced a reading such as 31-00, however today I was hunting at a spot I have several times before and got a -00 on conduc many times. I do not ever recall getting these before...anyone else get them?

Also, I have been too lazy to dig deep targets with good tones that read with a low conduct #....does anyone dig these?

The tones are far more accurate than the numbers . The more you use your Explorer the more you will find this to be true .

Chances are you are getting overlap from having too high sensitivity. You get those numbers on deep targets when the processor just doesnt know what its looking at. The digital screen is ok as one of many ways of trying to determine the target... but i wouldnt count on it being accurate on deeper targets. Like Dr said... use the tone.

tones dont lie very often at all. like everyone else said follow your ears not your eyes, and you will be surprised what you find that you think would be junk by watching numbers over listening to tones.
