Found this in a shell of a old barn. Signal really beamed thru the speaker on the v3i. I know what it is now, thanks to another member but dont know if its authentic piece or just an old copy....in any case, its been buried for many years.

Anyone know whom would know about this piece?

What a great way to prop up a nations currency.... I guess it is only a matter of time before the powers that be do this in the USA, How many are going to hand over their gold to fight Al-Ciada?

I think you item is legit considering the location of the find and the relative recent production of 1916.
 
I knew they did this type of thing during WWII in unpleasant ways but not voluntarily gave up their gold for a medal....guess it was the mindset at the time.

The piece looks to be real and has been in the ground for many years...I have found some other things of the same time period.

If anyone knows of someone that authenticates this type of thing...I would like to know.
