Interesting morning for the first hunt.

Got this 1969 Swedish Kroner and it was deep in dry sand, but made a nice ping with no readout on the screen. I've got a monster scoop and it took three of those to get it..strange I thought, must have been off to the side? No, depth confirmed on several other signals...this thing hits deep....Took the Pro to my usual morning hunting spots...hit a 3Q spill immediately, so thats the first find for me with the Pro...nothing too exciting about that, fresh drop, but it made me feel good and gave me some confidence I wouldn't miss anything.. Throughout the morning I had three surprises on deep targets...two were nickles and one was a deep Q. Very pleased so far... gotta extend the arm rest and inch or so...really like the long lower shaft the pro comes with...man a guy can cover some ground! Dont like the small display, but after a while, no big deal.. was up on the dry, and in the water, It was 62 degrees when I got to the beach, and 68 when I left at 9, the water was warm though...very happy with the product!

The waves were pretty brutal this morning down here. I had to stick to the South side of the pier for protection. Ran my "other" machine for the heck of it....pulled some very deep crusted pennies out of the water. Got 2 leads on lost wedding bands with pretty good detailed directions, but the surf was to rough to attempt a search today  Congrats on the maiden voyage!

Hey, comon down to the beach with us tomorrow! It should be a balmy 92.

Pretty good for a first run with a new machine. Glad it's working for you.
