Interesting Finds with the Sovereign

Just had enough time for a three hour search today.Nothing like the smell of hot dogs on the grill as I was searching today in the park.Anyway found a silver cross and two Indo China dimes a 1922 and 1937 which have holes drilled on each coin.A little excitement for the first 10 cent Indo China coin, which I thought it was a Seated Liberty dime. The value of each coin in a world coin book with a copyright of 1971 is $1.25 but that was 36yrs ago and each coin has a small hole drilled for a necklace.

D WES,The cross does have a lot of detail. The Tornado 800 seems to have great separation and good depth.I'm still learning to use the Sovereign. Thanks

Tony,I think both of the Indo China 10 Centimes are silver. These are coins from French controlled Vietnam,Laos and Cambodia.

After checking around about these coins yes they are silver. The value of each not sure.Even with the drilled hole in each coin they are worth more than I first thought.

I can see where coming out of dirt that one could look like a seated liberty dime. Foreign silver is interesting. Maybe a good story connection there too. HH Don

Don,I was actually disappointed that it wasn't even a Roosevelt, but after searching on Ebay and a couple of coin sites I have changed my mind.

Matt, the figure on the cross is probably not silver, bounce from 178-179.Recovered one a old ball field with sod probably about a depth of four inches.
