Interesting Find

I found this Christmas Eve and at first I had no clue what it was. I got home and realized it was two Wheat Pennies stuck together. I threw it in the Tumbler and after a couple of hours got it out and discovered that it was three Wheats stuck together. The Center Wheat is a Steel Penny. One of the outside ones was a 1944 and I am unsure what the other one was. It got mixed in with the other Wheats. I checked it with a Magnet and it is definitely Steel. It is not quite in Mint Condition but I did find it.

I've found two steelies that way

That's pretty cool. I've only found one steel cent and it was on a chain with 11 copper wheats. That's the only reason I dug it.

I found one steelie that was stuck to a copper wheat penny a few years ago. That is the only way you will find it with an ETrac.

I want to find one of the Copper 1943s

Interesting find indeed.. I found a wheat spill a couple years ago and there were about 4 wheat pennies and an odd disc shaped target that was the same size as the other pennies.
There was not much left of it and I figured it was a steel penny .. my first and only one found so far.

On the Back side you can see One Cent so I am certain it is a Wheat and a Magnet does stick to it. I may never find another so I through it in with the rest of my Wheats.
