So I was with a buddy of mine at a very old church and I found this item. Can anybody help me id it? Just for reference, I live in Florida, so I'm thinking the initials have something to do with that. Thanks.
 
Not sure on the letters but found a lead seal similar to this with some other letters and would also be interested to know what it is.
 
I believe the letters F.E.C are from the Florida East Coast Railway. I believe they are lead seals from around the turn of the century. I'm not sure what lead seals are for though. I also believe they had wire attached to them. That's all I have so far.
