Found the brass-barrelled derringer and War of 1812 button about 10 feet apart up in Pennsylvania about thirty years ago. Can't find any pics anywhere of it.
It shows a oval w/marks on the side. It was empty (discharged???) and it's precussion type. I have seen French or English derringers that looked similar. The V badge I understand to be an I.D. badge from WWII. Anybody got any ideas about the gun or worth of the badge or button. The button I think, is a cuff button.
Thanks
