Interesting button found today

I found this button at an old home site today that dates back to the 1840's.
I believe it is a button from a military school not far away from this site that has been around for many years.... not sure of the exact date.
It is called Miller school and the movie "Toy soldiers" was filmed at the school grounds some years ago.
The backmark reads HORSTMANN PHILADA and I have a probable mfg date of between 1893-1935.
It was quite deep in the ground and I was surprised at the condition of it.
I also found a 1918 wheat penny in the general area.
Thought you button experts would like to take a gander at this button.
Thanks for looking,
Felix
