intercept shield

on-edge

New member
just curious what everyone is using to display their silver or gold in,i've been kinda slacking, encasing my finds lately.
so i picked up a few 2x2 intercept sheild holders, man o man these things sure do make my silver look pretty, especially with that black background! just wandering if there is anything else i'm missing out on! any suggestions?

I'm just using the 2X2 paper foldover holders that you staple shut. They're pretty cheap & you can write info like date & location found right on the holder. I put these in a clear vinyl 3 ring holder that has pockets for 20 of them. I learned this from a great long-time hunter that lives in my area. Now that I see the holders you are using, I'll probably get a couple for those "special finds" as they come along to display. They do look sharp!

I also browse Hobby Lobby for nice frames & low cost shadow boxes for relic finds I want to display.

i use to do the exact same method 2x2 cardboard holder in 3 ring binder, after a while i got sick of the binder it was to big so i started looking for something different and found the safe-t holder i think it's made by whitman coin,i found it much easier to store and to look thru,i think i paid $6.00 for it,don't quote me on this it was a while back,i use the smaller coin wallets also they work well. brooklyn gallery coin and stamp usually carry a nice variety of coin supplies

the intercept holders are a little pricey, but i like the look they give minus the blurry scan.i think i'll use them for my better coins only, some of the coins i have are worth less than the holders themselves, i would go broke

I throw it all in a 'treasure chest' [for display purposes]. My oldest daughter bought me the thing and it works.
