Do civil war era umbrella inkwells ever have a number on the bottom? I have a green one that has a fancy 2 on the bottom. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Haven't seen one like that Don, but obviously someone made one. Could stand for 2 ozs or a model #2. Post a pic when possible. Good hunting, David @ Dixie
