Hello All. I am new to this forum but not new to detecting as I have been detecting close to seventing years. I do both beach and land. For beach detecting I have a sovereign XS with a coiltek (wot) 15 inch coil and I use a meter the Patriot that is made by Joe Patrick Joe has helped me set the meter for our coins and rubbish that we have in Australia. I am thinking of getting a beach and water unit. The one I am thinking about is the headhunter pulse. From what I have been able to find out it is a simple unit to operate and has good depth on jewellery and coins. I am looking for more depth .the set upi have is quite good and the meter is very good as it id as deep as the sovereign can go. I usually can get our two dollar coin at 12 to 14 inches if the conditions are good.
What I want to know is if there are any people out there using the headhunter pi detector and what they think about them. I know I will be doing a lot more digging. Any one that can help will be appreciated. I have a link that some of you might want to read about finding some dog tags from the 2nd ww and being able to find the owners and return them in the USA .all the best .Stan from Australia down under.
