info on the GTI 2500 and treasure hound?

hello there i was inquiring about on anyones personal knowledge on the treasure hound that goes on the gti 2500 has anybody ever tried one and like the more info about it has far as actual casche hunting with it and actual depths?
 
I have one and have only worked with it a little bit so far. Picked up an old padlock about 16" down.

I'd like to get the deep coil for a spot where an old fort from the 1800's is located. I can't hunt the land part, but the part below the high water mark might have some goodies way down deep.
 
Sorry for late response. I only check the forum periodically.
It goes about 3 feet for a soda can. 5 feet for a gallon size target 6-7 feet for an object as big as one meter cube and 20 feet for an automobile size object.
Treasure Hound will ignore all smaller items.
While holding the pinpoint button down, the front coil "Eagle Eye" can be used as a typical search coil with a 15" diameter.
Remember to press the "All Metal" button periodically to retune the detector while using two box attachment.

I'm glad to read this thread. I was researching for deeper coils but this sounds like its for deep and large. I saved a few hundred dollars here.
