Info on Lock?

whitetails4ever and I went to a house built in 1910 last night and found a 1918 wheat in good shape, and a 1898 Indian Head penny! Too cool for us since the wheat is so far my oldest coin and the IH is his first! It was way cool. I also found a spent 7.62 round casing, some copper nails and an unfired 22 cal bullet!!! My Deleon found this it was burried at 4 inches!!! Way cool again!! Anyway we were packing up to leave and I got a hit that was a little off, since I dig everything I dug and found this. I know it is from a Yale lock I just can't find any info on how old, what type of lock it came from etc. Can anyone help me out? There are no other markings on it anywhere. It is brass or copper, non-magnetic. (we also found a ton of trash as the house had recently had aluminum guttering, facia, and a new roof put on)

Thanks

Well the guy from Yale locks finally got back to me and said this was no lock on record with them. Said maybe it came from a steamer trunk or a Model T or A Ford?
