My Infinium was a dud, had to sell it the selector switch was defective, but the dealer did not know this and made it right with me , so the GT had to step up to the bat I put the GT on the Infinium shaft and filled the shaft with plastic so the water cant come up and put a bag over it just in case it gets splashed or i drop it , I have a good sunspot scoop and it is a nice thing i traded the gold ring i found for it , so hopfully it will all get the job done on the beach i will be hunting 1/10.000 of the lakes tomorow one of ten thousand cant say witch one thanks to jim i have a pair of hip waders so i will not freeze see if i canf find another ring out a bit further

Good luck and stay warm. The water is still in the 80's here:)

I will be in Isainti county MN, ,the weeds should be disapating now they get so thick they could drown you they are like rope

I wish you the best of luck in the quest for your next gold ring :) Cool setup

Hey Gunnar the straight rod is a good idea but when I wade my Sov I prefer to chestmount it, have the control box in one or two plastic bags. I like the plastic bags also for ocean hunting, keeps the mist off the control box.
Good luck with your setup!

Gunnar, there is an inside pocket in those chest waders. I don't remember how deep it is but maybe you can put the control box inside the waders. Or like Neil mentions strap the control box around your chest area. - Jim aka super dimeman

Dime man it sure does, lets see how it goes , dint make it out today ,

Gunnar, I am sure you will have a lot of fun in the water - just be careful with that control box............

Good luck
