Infinium received at last

After years of using 2 Garrett XL500PI's and never needing to return them for repairs, I bought a new Infinium and returned it two days later as faulty. Garrett is sending me another new unit continuing to earn their good name. I am disappointed that I had to experience this with a new machine. I've been promised a report on their investigation of the 1st detector.

While waiting I got the old 500's wet and found 1-18K,2-14K &1-10K rings. Gold eases the frustration. It'll be a cold day when I dump these old machines!!

Best to You all,

Cupajo

Take the time to learn the machine and you'll do real well with it!
Garrett service is fantastic and they'll take great care with any issues you have!!!

Thanks:detecting:

Hi Diggindirt,

Thanks for your response. I know you're right. I've read every post available about the LS and am really looking forward to learning how to speak it's language as many others have done. It seems to be a sign of the times that even the best manufacturers have a problem with flawed products. I've read many stories about each manufacturers products. After 25 years of detector use, mostly Garretts machines, I was surprised to find myself returning the LS. I've spoken to several fine folks at Garrett and they make every effort to please, God Bless 'em. The wait is hard on this old guy.

HH and best wishes for great finds.

Remember, nobody gets 'em all, but I'm workin on it!!!
