The waterproof Goldquest Aquasearch by Eric Foster is made by the same person who designed the Whites TDI, and may also be able to use Minelab PI coils with the proper connector.

Infinium LS vs Goldquest Aquasearch
Does anyone know how they compare in performance on both, saltwater highly mineralized beaches(like Hawaii) and for gold nuggets on goldfields ?? Thanks!

I haven't used the Aquasearch, but from what I've read,

-Aquasearch costs 2x more than Infinium.

-Aquasearch depth rating=2 meters / Infinium=200 feet

-Infinium=automatic two tone ID system

-Infinium=auto ground balance

-Aquasearch=made in England / Infinium= made in Texas, U.S.A.

-Aquasearch is the dogs dangly bits / Infinium is totally awesome dude

-Aquasearch=PI disc / Infinium=PI disc w/iron check

-Aquasearch=incredibly deep / Infinium =incredibly deep

-Aquasearch=more stable for surf hunting than Infinium LS

-Aquasearch= user adjustable pulse delay, S.A.T.and volume control

-Aquasearch=clear plastic(resin)control box / Infinium=atomic blast proof, Garrett green, heavy metal:yo:control box

-Aquasearch looks like a good surf machine, but Infinium seems like the better nugget hunter.

Happy Hunting:)
