Infinium LS - Sea Hunter Mark 11

I'll be checking them out some together before I leave Fla. I'm going to need a PI machine, and after some reading it's down to these two. Be using it on farm fields back home and wet sand / salt water wading. The LS, I don't know, it's what I need, but there are some complaints out there. Any suggestions, warnings, tips, insights will be appreciated.
Thanks Dancer

i have the sea hunter. didn't consider the ls--to much $$. the only difference i can see is some sort of ground balance as evidenced by some youtube vids--don't know if it really works. the threshold hum is constant. volume control on land based headphones can help--the water phones don't have dials. plan on digging a lot and deep and discrimination isn't a real trait of a pulse unit. i do have a limbsaver sling as these units are not lightweight. i may opt for a straight shaft in the future--to be funded by future find$. met a couple of guys on hilton head last week--one with a minelab, the other with a white. they were having troubles in the wet sand--understandable with the white--a vlf. the minelab with multifrequencies--still lacked depth and falsed.

couldn't tell you if a dd coil is more beneficial than a mono coil or if the pulse rate is the same for the ls and sea hunter. my gut reaction is that the ls has expensive tweeks.

ps--i only hunt wet sand and i use a mud shovel--easier/faster digging.

I under from what I read was that you'll have to buy a coil for beach hunting for the inf, and headphones to, take in mind that's what I read, so .. Call Garrett to confirm

Either will do for the beach of course. As for farm fields, seems like people tend to like the Infinium. There are some videos out there showing it being used at CW sites, as well as even some gold prospecting. I haven't seen the SHM2 used for relics, but it could if you wanted to.

Brought the Seahunter Mk11 when it came out the first year....no problem...great in any water condition, rugged and reliable. Operate wide open youz!
