Made a quick exit from work, headed home and packed up my water equipment for another water hunt to cool off. No rings tonite, however a nice gold medic alert pendant surprised me at about 8:30 in the water. It was down at about 12 inches. I'm batting a good average using my Infinium so far. My previous 4/4 hunts produced gold!

I learned something new again.....if you leave the beach for a plumbing break and shut the Infinium off, you have to again pick a suitable frequency and re-groundbalance it again. That way it just purrs quietly.

You've been posting some nice finds, I'm was wondering which coil you are using? I've been using the 10 x 14 mono but thinking of buying the 8 in. mono. thanks and stay on that hot streak.

I have the large DD at home and haven't used it. I am planning a hunt with my buddy this coming week, and he uses the large "DD". We are gong to switch machines and compare notes. I know the 8" mono is easy to pinpoint with and gets great depth. The large "DD" might even go a tad deeper. I don't know which is better. Now you are intoducing the large mono coil. Interesting........

I like the 10 x 14 mono I find it to be very stable. But i'm hearing alot of good reviews on the 8 in. I think its time to get one. you know you can never have enought toys.
