Hello there fellow detectorists are you guy's looking for a cheap pinpointer until that 60.00 or 70.00 is affordable go harbor freight tools.com and you can get the brand new cen tech for $21.95 shipped, it's all i've owned so far and always found what i was looking for i will admit over time you get to rough with them and you will have to solder joints, usuall the push button that bothers and since i've resoldered mine have'nt had problems since!

Yeah I use one of those....Not bad for 15 bucks. Looks like White's old Bulls Eye II unit and even has a sensitivity control and light! Doesn't have the reach as the White's but it's better then nothing!
You'll see the same one on eBay going for 30 bucks. Go to Harbor Freight First.

With the one I have, with a new battery 3/4 to 7/8 of an inch on coins. Just over an inch on my shovel. Small pieces of foil or trinkets 1/4 to 1/2 inch depending on size. By the time the battery is about dead it looses 1/4 inch or so on all targets. I'm getting another one as a back up. For the price it is hard to beat.

Stopped at local Harbor Freight tonite. They were out and said warehouse also out. Probably be a couple weeks before my local has any.HH all.

Oh Great! that means i'll be waiting a while for mine to show up then oh well i'm getting this one new one for back up anyways.

I read on one of the Find's forums last year ( I don't remember which one ) where someone was able to peak his out a little and got close to two inches (or so he says ). I'd like to have the inline Sunray instead but $189.00 is a little too much so I'm going to call my local Harbor Freight tomorrow and hopefully they'll have one in stock.
