Col Andy and myself hit the dirt again today, our target two old farm houses. One was built in 1850 and the other around 1900.
Andy found a rosie, wheat pennies and other misc. stuff......As for me I recovered a nice merc, some wheats, a large piece of brass and a real nice button. The button still has some gold on it and is a 2 part style, I'm guessing it is civil war era...The wording on the back is the best I can tell.......Benedict and Burnnam....Extra

Hopefully we'll tread the Earth again tomorrow with the SEs..........HH John in Va...

The date on the photos is incorrect....should be 4-14-11...........Thanks for looking

Way to go, John. I love em. !

Nice hunt John. I love to see the silver and injuns'. I don't find buttons often...but they are cool too.
