Thanks for sharing that. I grew up in Indiana and when I was in HS they created a lake not far away and buried the little town of Portland Mills. I wonder if it's "rising from the dead" yet.

Portland mills sounds familiar. I'll have to look into it.

Portland Mills was just East of Rockville and is now under Racoon Lake. (down in Covered Bridge country)

Lake mansfield is the same as Racoon. I didn't know that.
I've been to Racoon metal detecting on the shore line. Thats the
only place they will let you. Never knew there was a town at the bottom of
the lake. Live and learn.

Wow!!! Great clip and story.Is metal tecting allowed??? The reason I ask is because of the dept of parks in the video. HH Wayne in Delaware
