INDIAN ROCK???

What is the hole diameter? Judging the hole size compared to your hand it looks too large to be an ancient artifact. Also the hole wall looks too smooth to be reed drilled. Is that stone? I've never seen that type of stone before. What state was it found in? Is it a personal find? If its a personal find, did it come from a creek, a field, or where. A little more information will be helpful.

It looks manufactured from a mold with resin or mortar. The round beads are not ground flat anywhere as if it were in a stone and then shaped by grinding.
Other than being formed from a mold, my guess is a Hydrothermal vent. How much does it weigh?

MEV, It appears to me as the inside of a air conditioning/ refrigeration dryer. When you cut a drier open there is a hole in the middle like that . The purpose of the drier is to capture dirt and moisture. The refrigerant passes through the desiccant media and passes through it . Hope this helps . Ezra.

I agree with ezra... it is the inside of a filter dryer for a refrigeration system.. some of the systems have a canister that you can open to replace the cores and that's what this look like.
