FST was testing out some diffrent setting on the blisstool and was hunting for deeper targets , and he actualy got a 1900 penny at 12" deep

Thats right this is the magic setting gain of 10 dont know why but it works less gain will not work I got a nickle at 13" deep with this setting gain 10-- DL5 DD10 threshold 6 tone max DT3 and manuely ground balanced, by less gain i am saying 5 to 8 or so 1.5 to 3 works good on gain but over that the ground will not alow it

That is pretty amazing to be able to get a penny at 12" deep with a VLF machine.

Has anyone figured out how the Bliss might be doing this? I wonder what ever happened to those tests that the lead designer from Whites was doing with the Bliss. Was a thread on the Geotech forum regarding it...

Wouldn't it be nice if other manufacturers could take this tweak on technology further?

Thx for posting the video,
Albert

The guy seems to be a right (honest) guy, but I don't see how you can claim that indian was 12 inches deep. It might have been that deep, but to say for sure you would have to use a much more careful digging technique. Digging with that shovel, it might have fallen down into the bottom of the hole as he was digging. Not bashing the detector, but to make that claim you need more evidence. The fact that the signal seemed to move after he started digging also indicates that it might have originally been shallower, but fell into the bottom.
